Life Care Fund

Supporting those who have outlived their financial assets is a critical part of Sunset's promise to our residents. These are hard working, responsible individuals who for a variety of honest reasons, have exhausted their assets. They don't require nursing home care, so they don't qualify for Medicaid. But they are too frail to live alone. Your donation to the Life Care Fund will support the more than 20 Sunset residents who rely on financial assistance from Sunset each year.

There are often items, big and small, that each of our homes would love to purchase to enhance day-to-day life. Sometimes these are items that we can't fit in the budget, and sometimes they are neat new ideas that weren't thought of during the budgeting process. Each home has its own list, so take a peek!

Memorial Gifts

Memorial giving provides a lasting remembrance of a loved one or friend. Your thoughtful gift expresses love and sympathy to the families of those whose memories you have honored, and at the same time provides support for residents living in our communities. The family of those whose memories you honor will receive acknowledgement from us, telling them of your thoughtful tribute.

Commemorative Gifts

Sunset Retirement Communities' commemorative-giving program is a wonderful way to pay tribute to a loved one or a special friend in honor of their birthday, anniversary or special occasion.

Employee Appreciation Fund

There are times when we want to recognize the special efforts of an individual or a team of caregivers. Donating to the Employee Appreciation Fund is a wonderful expression of that gratitude. Each year these funds are used to provide special parties, fun tokens of recognition like sweatshirts and gift certificates, and spontaneous expressions of appreciation.

Charitable Gift Annuities

Gift annuities involve the transfer of money or property, with a promise from the organization to pay the donor fixed and guaranteed payments for life.
